Live Love Polish Shark Week Collection Swatches & Review

Live Love Polish Shark Week

Hello readers,
Today I have the Shark Week collection from Live Love Polish to share with you. This collection features four shimmery thermals shades inspired by these amazing creatures. Let's take a look at swatches.

Live Love Polish Shark Week Swatch

Lemon Shark

Lemon Shark is a sunflower yellow (cold) to very pale yellow (warm) thermal with tiny silver holo glitters and shimmer. The formula was easy to apply and took three coats for full coverage. However, I did find it dragged a little bit if I didn't wait between coats so just wait a little longer than you normally would. This shade dries to a matte finish with a teeny bit of texture so top coat is recommended. Photos show three coats of Lemon Shark with one coat of Live Love Polish Quick Dry Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Midnight Mako

Midnight Mako is a cobalt (cold) to cerulean blue (warm) thermal with tons of small silver holo flecks. The formula was very easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. Like  most thermals, this dries down matte so top coat is recommended. Photos show three coats of Midnight Mako with one coat of Live Love Polish Quick Dry Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Sharkify My Love

Sharkify My Love features a cherry red (cold) to pale pink-beige (warm) thermal base with small iridescent violet glitters, tiny champagne glitters and tiny copper flecks. Another easy to work with formula taking three coats for full coverage. This shade dries down matte with a little bit of texture so top coat is recommended for a smooth shiny finish. Shark Spark

Shark Spark is a medium teal leaning blue (cold) to light aqua (warm) thermal with pink and silver flecked shimmer. The shift in this one was subtler than the rest of the shades in this release. I also found the formula was quite sheer. After three coats my nail lines showed through a little bit in the cold state and were very clear in the warm state. Conclusion

When I first looked a the polishes in the bottle I thought for sure that Shark Spark would be my favorite because of my affinity for blues and teals. However, I ended up really liking Sharkify My Love. The copper flecks and iridescent violet glitters really add depth and complexity to the shade. The Shark Week collection is available now. You can find Live Love Polish on

Happy polishing,

Michelle
