Hello readers,
Today I have April edition of Beautometry's My Mani Box subscription to share with you. April's box featured a mix of nail art supplies, an exclusive polish and hand care. Let's take a look at swatches and the nail art look I put together.
What Was In The April Box?
'Ard As Nails Pizzazz
Soap Dodger Foaming Hand Scrub
Black Loose Glitter
Iridescent Loose Glitter
MoYou London Lace Collection - 05 Stamping Plate
MoYou London Happy Birthday - 02 Stamping Plate
'Ard As Nails Pizzazz is a vibrant pink filled with silver holo flecks and shimmer. The formula was easy to work with taking two coats for full coverage. This shade dries slightly less than shiny so I recommend adding top coat. Photos show two coats of Pizzazz with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
I also used the MoYou London lace stamping plate and the iridescent loose glitter along with two Girly Bits Cosmetics polishes from my collection to create this nail art look. I used a Girly Bits blue holo OOAK as the base. I stamped the lace pattern using Girly Bits Hit and Mist and MoYou London Lace Collection - 05. Then I placed one of the loose glitters at the center of each of the lace designs. Finally, a coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat to seal everything up.
Overall this box has a good variety of items, especially if you're trying to grow your stamping plate collection. The Soap Dodger Foaming Hand Scrub was also an item I really appreciate. It has a lovely crisp but sweet scent and uses natural grit (raspberry seeds). You can get the My Mani Box for $35USD per month. If you prepay for a longer sub (3, 6 or 12 months) you'll also get a discounted price. You can find My Mani Box on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
