Emily de Molly March Release {A Selection} Swatches & Review

Emily De Molly March 2018 collection

Hello readers,
Due to some shipping delays I didn't end up reviewing the Emily de Molly March release for you when it first came out. However, Hayley - the maker of Emily de Molly - was kind enough to send my favorite shades afterwards so I could still share them with you. Let's take a look at swatches.

Dappled Lilac

Dappled Lilac features a pale lilac holo base with a sprinkling of small glitters in shades of blue, purple and copper. The formula was easy to work with taking two coats for full coverage. I didn't experience any issues with glitter texture but I added top coat for longer wear. Photos show two coats of Dappled Lilac with one coat of Lucky 13 Lacquer Elemental Ward top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Idle Sails

Idle Sails features a vibrant blue foiled metallic base with a strong gold-green shimmer. The formula was easy to work with taking two coats for full coverage. This is one of those shades that will highlight and bumps or damage in your nail bed, so if you have any of those I do recommend using a ridge filling base coat first. Prismatic Mode

Prismatic Mode features a grey leaning purple jelly base filled with small iridescent flakes and tiny pewter holo glitters. The formula easy to work with (especially for a glitter) and took two coats for full coverage. This dries down with some texture so top coat is highly recommended.
