Hello readers,
Today I have the Limited Edition polishes Girly Bits Cosmetics is bring to Polish Con New York to share with you. See if you can figure out the inspiration for the shade names, they're quite clever. Let's take a look at swatches.
Not Plain White
Not Plain White features a very pale, almost white, purple crelly base, purple to green shifting metallic flakes, rose gold shimmer and a sprinkling of silver holo shimmer. The formula was easy to work with and surprisingly pigmented for a pale shade, taking two coats for full coverage. This dries to a matte finish with the occasional flakie bump so top coat is recommended. She's A Lady
Shes's A Lady features a light turquoise crelly base with copper flecks and aqua flecked shimmer. The formula was easy to work with taking three coats for full coverage, though two may be enough for those with shorter nails or a less distinct nail line than me. Dreamlike
Dreamlike features a denim blue holo base with pink shimmer, small purple to green shifting metallic flakes and small red to gold shifting metallic flakes. The overall results looks like a shattered rainbow swimming in denim blue. The formula was easy to work with though a tad sheer, taking three coats for full coverage. This dries smooth on its own but I added top coat out of habit. Photos show three coats of Dreamlike with one coat of Girly Bits Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Conclusion
My personal favorite is She's A Lady. Turquoise plus flecks and shimmer? Yes please. These three shades will available for purchase at Polish Con New York on June 16th, 2018 for $13USD each. If you can't make it to Polish Con in person, all three shades will be available on the Girly Bits website in early July for $16.50CAD. You can find Girly Bits Cosmetics on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
