Today I have Girly Bits Cosmetics' contribution to Hella Handmade Creation's August release to share with you. This is the fifth polish from Girly Bits' Harry Potter HHC series. This month's shade was inspired by the merpeople, a colony of which lived in the Black Lake on the ground of Hogwarts Castle. Let's take a look at swatches.
Underwater Secrets is a glowing chartreuse green with a strong golden sheen, scatter holo shimmer and small metallic flakes in shades of blue, green and gold. The formula was easy to apply though I do recommend waiting a little extra time between coats to avoid dragging. This shade dries quite smoothly on its own but I added top coat out of habit. Photos show three coats of Underwater Secrets with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
