Double Stamped Nail Art
Hello readers,
Today I have my first ever attempt at double stamped nail art to share with you. I tended to avoid this style in the past since I hadn't found a clear stamper that I was really happy with. However, after playing around with the Clear Jelly Stamper I got from Beautometry over the last few months, I finally got the hang of it.

A Little Bit Of Everything Nail Art
Hello readers,
I didn't really have much of a plan going into this nail art look. I gathered some polishes with a cohesive mix of colours and it turned into a mix of glitter crelly, metallic and stamped gradient.

Constellation Nail Art
Hello readers,
It's spring outside, but I couldn't resist trying out one of the new vampy sample shades I recently bought from Lucky 13 Lacquer. Bright stars were the perfect addition to the inky blue shade.

Art Deco Gradient Nail Art
Hello readers,
Remember last when I couldn't decide of my plum massacre nail art was a success or an epic failure? I decided to add some stamping to complete the look. I definitely think it pulls everything together.

Hello readers,
The sparkling aqua of Femme Fatale Cosmetics Among Daughters Of Air called for some aquatic nail art so I used it as the perfect opportunity to do some koi fish stamping.

A Little Bit Of Everything Purple Nail Art
Hello readers,
I've made it to week three of four for Beautometry's Next Top Swatcher competition. For those of you who voted for me in past weeks, thank you! This week's theme was 'purple' and you know I love purple polish. I couldn't quite decide which nail art technique to focus on so I mixed a little stamper marbling, some gradients and some stamping to come up with this look.

Blue And Silver Floral Stamped Nail Art Featuring Born Pretty Store Plate BP-80
Hello readers,
Today I have some nail art to share with you that I did using Born Pretty Store's stamping plate BP-80. This plate features a mix of floral and bird designs. The quality was very good. The designs seem deeply etched and I had no issues getting the image to pick up or stamp cleanly.

Black and Pink Bubble Nail Art
Hello readers,
It's nail art time! I started out with a base of Trust Fund Beauty No Filter, a pale blush creme. Then I used Cheeky jumbo plate B, China Glaze Liquid Leather and Different Dimension Mystery Villain #2 Lady Tremaine to create the black and silver bubble decals for my middle and ring finger. Finally, I stamped my index and pinky fingers with a different circular pattern from the same plate using Color Club What A Drag. A coat of Girly Bits Glitter Glaze sealed everything up.

Layering With Color Club Glitter Wonderland & Emerald & Ash Red Shift
Hello readers,
I love glitter filled jelly polishes but I absolutely hate the effort required to take them off. I compromised in this mani by layering a single coat of squishy glittery goodness over a much easier to remove shimmery base colour.
I used two coats of Color Club Glitter Wonderland as my base. There were a few slightly patchy spots after two coats and had I been wearing it alone I probably would have added a third. I then added one coat of Emerald & Ash Red Shift over top. The formula of Red Shift was easy to work with though I can't comment on its stand alone coverage since I obviously didn't use it alone here. Finally, I sealed everything up with a coat of Nubar Diamont top coat. Photos show the described mani in daylight spectrum lighting.
What do you think of this combo? Check out Emerald & Ash on:
Happy polishing,
Michelle

Jellyfish Stamping
Hello readers,
Today I have a two-toned stamped mani to show you. I used Arcane Lacquer Erudite Charm as by based colour and then stamped overlapping jellyfish from Bundle Monster plate BM-504 using Color Club What A Drag and China Glaze Hook And Line. Finally I topped everything off with a coat of CND Super Shiney top coat. The result is an underwater jellyfish lagoon! I've also been playing around with my new lightbox. The top four photos are in direct natural light and the bottom four are using the light box in natural light.
Happy polishing,
- Michelle

Summer Of Untrieds Day 31: Foil - Zoya Kotori
Hello readers,
I'm skipping ahead one theme for the summer of untrieds challenge since the polish I had in mind for day 30 is still in the mail on its way to me.
Kotori is a rich blue flecked foil. It applied very easily but was quite sheer. It took me four coats to reach opacity. I just wish it were more pigmented. Other than that I didn't have any issues. Photos show four coats of Kotori without a top coat in natural lighting.
The flecked shimmery finish of this polish reminded me of bright blue water so I decided to add some ocean themed stamping. I used Color Club Glitter Wonderland to add a subtle sea fan in the background and Zoya Hazel for some jellyfish from Moyou London sailor plate 08.
The result is a little more subtle than I had anticipated but it's still quite pretty.
Happy polishing,
Michelle

Abstract Spring Flowers Nail Art
Hello readers,
Today I have some nail art that I did for a recent nail art contest held by Above The Curve Nail Polish. The theme was spring so I decided to contrast bright spring flowers against white winter snow.
First I painted my nails white with CG Dandy Lyin' Around. Next I dabbed Zoya Charisma up the edge of my nail and across the tip. Then, I dabbed Zoya Katherine over the same area as Charisma making sure to cover any of the white gaps.
After waiting for that to completely dry I stamped a floral design from Moyou Pro Plate XL 06 using Color Club What A Drag. Here are the results in natural lighting.
Happy polishing,
Michelle
