Hello readers,
Today I one of the new holiday sets from Zoya to share with you. The Merry & Bright quad features four complementary polish in shades of red and pink. Let's take a look at swatches.
Ellie
Ellie is a medium fuchsia pink creme. The formula was excellent taking two thin coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Ellie with one coat of Lucky 13 Lacquer Elemental Ward top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Mandy
Mandy is a shimmery almost metallic strawberry red with a violet sheen. The formula was a bit sheer, requiring three coats to become opaque, but quite easy to work with. Photos show three coats of Mandy with one coat of Zoya Armor top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Marigold
Marigold is a bright saturated orange jelly base with a strong gold flecked shimmer. The formula was excellent and super easy to apply. I used three coats here, but if you have shorter nails or a less distinct nail line two would likely be enough. Photos show three coats of Marigold with one coat of Lucky 13 Lacquer Elemental Ward top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Carmen
Carmen is a classic red crelly. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. This shade dries smooth and shiny on its own but I added top coat out of habit. Photos show three coats of Carmen with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
