Tarte Cosmetics Tartelette In Bloom Eyeshadow Palette Swatches & First Impressions

Tarte Tartelette In Bloom Review

Hello readers,
Today I have the Tartelette In Bloom eyeshadow palette from Tarte Cosmetics to share with you. If I'm remembering correctly, this was the second palette in the Tartelette series. I loved the all matte original so buying this was a no brainer for me. Let's take a look at swatches.

Tarte Tartelette In Bloom Review

The Tartelette In Bloom palette features 9 matte and 6 shimmery neutral shades. It has a good tonal range from light to dark. I'm happy to see the three darkest shades are all mattes which provides some great options for deepening that outer corner.

First Impressions

My first impressions after applying the swatches here are that these shadows live up to my expectations set by the original Tartelette palette. I was able to build all the mattes up to opaque even coverage (no patchiness here!). The shimmers were buttery and nicely pigmented. My only wish is that there was a little more differentiation between the top two rows. Once applied over primer Jetsetter and Smarty Pants, and Smokeshow and Activist look very similar. I think a couple of those could have been swapped out for some peach or red shades.

Happy polishing,

Michelle
