Hello readers,
Today I have three new stamping polishes from Born Pretty Store to share with you. They've also updated their bottles which gives the stamping polish line a nice cohesive feel. Let's take a look at swatches.
In Fire
In Fire is a bright metallic yellow gold. I had no problem picking up and stamping the image even when using it with the fine leaf design from Creative Shop 97. Photos show In Fire over Girly Bits Cosmetics Purple Heyyyys with one coat of Moyra Stamping Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Leo
Leo is a metallic burnished gold. In shaded lighting it also has a subtle shift to green. I had no issues getting designs to pick up and stamp when using it with the UberChic Succulents stamping plate. Photos show Leo over Zoya Ryan with one coat of Moyra Stamping Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Flowing Clouds
Flowing Clouds is a pearly white, though in some lighting I found it looked more like a pale silver. This formula dried a little bit faster than the other two shades I tried which meant I had to work faster to get a clean image. I used it here with Creative Shop plate 39. Photos show Flowing Clouds over Zoya Dream with one coat of Moyra Stamping Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Final Thoughts
Overall the two metallic shades, In Fire and Leo, were very easy to work with and produced crisp stamped designs. Flowing Clouds was a little trickier but I was able to make it work. You can find Born Pretty Store on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
