Today I have the November COTM shades from Girly Bits Cosmetics to share with you. It's getting chilly out there and I'm mentally preparing myself for snow. Let's take a look at swatches.
Turning A New Leaf
Turning A New Leaf features a clear base packed with tiny metallic flakes in shades or orange, copper and gold, a sprinkling of slightly larger blue and turquoise metallic flakes, lots of tiny holo gold glitters and flecked shimmer that shifts from purple to copper to green. Despite everything going on in this polish the formula was easy to work with taking three thin coats for full coverage. It does dry fairly smooth on it's own but top coat really brings all the components together. Winter Whiplash
Winter Whiplash features a vibrant cobalt blue jelly base filled with red to copper to green shifting shimmer and a sprinkling of tiny blue and copper glitters. The formula was easy to work with taking three coats for full coverage. As will most jellies, I recommend waiting a little extra time between coats the ensure the colour builds up to an opaque finish. This dries quite smoothly on its own but I added top coat out of habit. Photos show three coats of Winter Whiplash with one coat of Girly Bits Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
