Hello readers,
Today I have the Fall 2018 Creme Collection from Girly Bits to share with you. This collection was designed with nail art in mind so it contains a mix of classic fall colours, brighter shades and a neutral. These can be used as full coverage polishes or for stamping. Let's take a look at swatches of them on their own.
Petal To The Metal
Petal To The Metal is a bright cool toned pink. The formula was excellent taking two thin coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Petal To The Metal with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
You Can't Handle The Spruce
You Can't Handle The Spruce is a blue leaning green aka viridian green cream. (I learned a new colour name!) The formula excellent and very pigmented. This is officially a one-coater, even over my prominent nail lines. Just The Flax Ma'am
Just The Flax Ma'am is a pale cool toned beige creme. The formula was excellent and very easy to work with, especially for a pale shade. I used two thin coats for full coverage. Saffron, Saffroff
Saffron, Saffroff is a light bright (but not neon) buttery yellow creme. Without top coat this shade stays a little more muted, like it looks in the bottle. When I added top coat it became a little brighter and more vibrant. Forget Me? NOT!
Forget Me? NOT! is a medium cornflower blue creme. This one was another super pigmented one coater. Photos show one coat of Forget Me? NOT! with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Rust In The Wind
Rust In The Wind is a medium red-learning rusty orange creme. The formula was great, taking two thin coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Rust In The Wind with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Boys 'n' Berries
Boys 'n' Berries is a deep purple leaning red berry creme. Two easy thin coats are needed for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Boys 'n' Berries with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Eggplant One On Me
Eggplant One On Me is a deep cool toned eggplant purple creme. Like the majority of this collection, two coats will get you full coverage. Photos show two coats of Eggplant One On Me with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Purple Heyyyys
Purple Heyyyys is a medium blurple creme. I was able to get full coverage in just one coat. There's lots of pigment in here. Photos show one coat of Purple Heyyyys with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Final Thoughts
This is a solid collection of staple cremes. The formula was consistently excellent requiring at most two coats, with lots of one-coaters in the mix. My personal favorites are Petal To The Metal, Just The Flax Ma'am and You Can't Handle The Spruce; mostly because I don't have similar shades in my collection. The Fall 2018 Creme Collection is available now. If you need them all and buy the collection set by November 14th, 2018 you can get 15% off. You can find Girly Bits Cosmetics on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
