Hello readers,
Today I have the Live Love Polish Sunset Collection to share with you. This set features sunset hues in a variety of finishes. Let's take a look at swatches.
Afterglow
Afterglow features a magenta jelly based filled with violet flecked shimmer. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. This dries quite shiny on its own but I added top coat our of habit. Photos show three coats of Afterglow with one coat of Live Love Polish Quick Dry Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Horizon
Horizon is an orange (cold) to pale pastel orange (warm) thermal base filled with tiny silver holo glitters and small violet iridescent glitters. The formula was easy to work with though a bit sheer. After three coats my nail line still shows through a little bit, though it is obscured by the thermal gradient. This shade dries to a matte finish so top coat is recommended for shine. Magic Hour
Magic Hour features a magenta (cold) to pale pink (warm) thermal base filled with blue flecked shimmer and small silver holo glitters. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. This shade dries to a matte finish so you'll want to add top coat for shine. Sundown
Sundown is a fiery red foiled metallic with silver flecks. The formula was excellent taking two thin coats for full coverage. However, it was so close after one that if you kept an eye out for sheer spots you could likely make this a one coater. Refracted
Refracted features a blackened jelly base filled with metallic flakies in shades of pink, red, orange and copper along with small silver holo glitters. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Refracted with one coat of Live Love Polish Quick Dry Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Vesper
Vesper features a vibrant purple jelly base loaded with small orange iridescent glitters and tiny silver holo glitters. The formula wasn't thick but felt a bit gummy. I found that I had to wait for each coat to pretty much dry before adding the next or I would end up with some serious dragging. This shade dries down to a waxy finish and has a little texture so top coat is highly recommended. Conclusion
My personal favorites of this collection are Sundown and Refracted. The Sunset Collection is available now. You can find Live Love Polish on
