Today I have the May COTM shades from Girly Bits Cosmetics to share with you. This month's duo features bright shimmery colours to get you in the mood for the warm weather ahead. Let's take a look at swatches.
Slushy Lips & Tips
Slushie Lips & Tips features a vivid pink jelly base filled with a bright pink flecked shimmer. The result is somehow metallic and squishy at the same time. The formula was very easy to work with and surprisingly pigmented for a jelly base. I used two coats here for full coverage. This shade dries shiny and smooth but I added top coat out of habit. Photos show two coats of Slushie Lips & Tips with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Summer Crush
Summer Crush features a tangerine orange jelly base filled with pink glass fleck shimmer. The formula was easy to work with though sheer. I used three coats and my nail lines still peek through in some lighting. Like Slushie Lips & Tips the finish of this shade is squishy and metallic at the same time. Photos show three coats of Summer Crush with one coat of Girly Bits Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Conclusion
