Hello readers,
Today I have Hello Waffle's March Visage box to share with you. This month's selection was inspired by the animated film The Secret Of Kells. Though I haven't seen it myself, looking up imagery online I can definitely see where the rich earthy tones this month came from. Let's take a look at swatches.
Hello Waffle Cosmetics Crystal Eye Eyeshadow
Crystal Eye features a shiny gunmetal base with flecks of silver and blue. This one definitely benefits from a sticky primer to keep everything in place and bring out the shiny finish.

Hello Waffle Cosmetics Oak-Berry Ink Eyeshadow
Oak-Berry Ink is a medium emerald green with a satin sheen. The formula for this shade was super pigmented and easy to work with.

Hello Waffle Cosmetics The Chi-Rho Page Eyeshadow
The Chi-Rho Page is ... hard to describe. It's a pale muted sort of yellow sort of green sort of gold shimmer. This one can be built up like in my swatch below or sheered out.

Hello Waffle Cosmetics Pangur Ban Fairy Dust Overshadow
Pangur Ban features a sheer lilac base filled with blue and turquoise flecks and a strong green flash. This is super glowy and has an opalescent finish.

Hello Waffle Cosmetics Aisling Blush
Aisling is a matte deep apricot blush. The formula was quite pigmented. This one is a bit to warm for my skin tone but if you generally go for warmer shades, this could be a nice option.

Hello Waffle Cosmetics Darkness Into Light Lipstick
Darkness Into Light is a sheer rosy toned nude. I found it does apply a little more pink than in looks in the tube. For me this is very close to my natural lip colour so makes a nice shade when I don't want to worry about touch ups but want something more than a clear balm.

Squash Beauty Warm Copper Shimmer Illuminator/Brontour
This month's guest indie was Squash Beauty, a brand I've tried once before through Visage. They contributed a multitasking product in a warm shimmery copper shade. The cream formula dries down quite quickly, so you need to work fast to blend it to your desired coverage. For me, I couldn't quite find an ideal use. I have hooded eyes and cream products just do not stand a chance against creasing, no matter how much primer I use. For my skin tone this is too dark to use a highlighter, but I prefer matte bronzer and contour products. I think this would look love on darker skin tones, but it's just not a good fit for me.

Conclusion
My personal favorite this month is Pangur Ban. It is ridiculously pretty. The neutral Darkness Into Light lipstick comes in second as a great everyday item to add to my collection. You can find Hello Waffle Cosmetics on
