Hello readers,
Today I have Femme Fatale's New Beginning collection, exclusive to Live Love Polish, to share with you. This collection features six colour changing thermal polishes in sparkly and shimmery finishes. Let's take a look at swatches.
Ashes To Dusk
Ashes To Dusk features a deep denim blue (cold) to clear (warm) thermal base filled with a violet flecked shimmer and small holo glitters. The formula was easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage, though my nail line does peek through a little bit when then entire nail is in the clear-based warm state. This dries to a satin finish so I do recommend a glossy top coat for a shiny finish. Morning Tide
Morning Tide features a warm purple (cold) to pale sage green (warm) base with fine gold shimmer and small holo gold glitters. The formula was quite easy to work with took two coats for full coverage. This shade dries with a waxy finish and does have a slight texture from the glitters so I definitely recommend top coat with this one. Dawn Of The Day
Dawn Of The Day features a cool toned pink (cold) to pale pink (warm) base with a strong blue shimmer and small holo glitters. The formula was relatively easy to work with taking two coats for full coverage. Like the other shades in this collection, this dries to a waxy finish so top coat is needed for shine. Nightfall
Nightfall featueres a medium blue (cold) to milky white (warm) base with a glowing purple flash and a few sizes of holo silver glitters. The formula was relatively easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. This does dry with a bit of texture due to the glitters so you'll definitely need 1-2 coats of top coat to smooth things out. Below The Horizon
Below The Horizon features a medium coral (cold) to cream (warm) base with gold shimmer, gold flakes and tiny holo glitters. The formula was a tad thick, but still relatively easy to work with. This dries with some texture so top coat is definitely recommended. Midnight Sun
Midnight Sun features a deep blurple (cold) to magenta (warm) base with a strong blue shimmer. The formula was excellent. It took three coats for full coverage for me, but it was so close after two that if you have shorter nails or a less distinct nail line, two should be enought. This dries to an even satin finish so if you want shine, you'll need to top coat it. I was only able to get the extreme bright pink shift by dipping my fingers in warm water. With my normal body temperature there was still a strong colour shift, but it looked more violet than pink. Conclusion
My personal favorite is Midnight Sun, with Ashes To Dusk coming in second. Morning Tide is also a really unique shade. I especially like it in its cold purple state. The New Beginnings collection is available exclusively on Live Love Polish. You can find L.L.P. on
