Hello readers,
Today I have a selection of products from the Weleda Evening Primrose skin care line to share with you. Having just turned 31, but still suffering from the occasional breakout, I'm pretty picky out what I put on my face. Let's see how these three items from Weleda worked for me.
Evening Primrose Revitalizing Body Wash
The Evening Primrose Body Wash has a light floral scent. I'm not usually one for florals but this one I didn't find overpowering like most. The formula was creamy but lathered easily. It also rinsed clean but didn't leave my skin feeling dry. Overall a nice body wash that I can see myself using again.
Evening Primrose Age Revitalizing Day Cream
The Evening Primrose Day Cream is a rich creme with no noticeable scent. For me, this was too heavy for summer use but I think it will be a good option for winter when my skin needs the extra moisture. I did use this for a few weeks though and didn't notice any increase in breakouts which I really appreciated. Often I find that heavier moisturizers don't get along with my acne prone skin.
Evening Primrose Age Revitalizing Night Cream
The Evening Primrose Night Cream is similar to the day cream but with an even richer formula. Again, a bit too much for summer for my skin, but likely a good option for dryer winter days. After using this every other night for several weeks I didn't notice any increase in breakouts which, like the day cream, was a pleasant surprise for such a rich formula.
Conclusion
My favorite item of these three was the body wash. If your skin really benefits from a thicker richer lotion than the day and night creams could be good options for you. If like me, you are battling pimples and those first hints of fine lines at the same time, this line could be one to test out. You can find Weleda on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
