Hello readers,
Today I have the two COTM shades for October from Girly Bits Cosmetics to share with you. These polishes are the perfect mix of fall and halloween.
Slay, Ghoul, Slay
Slay, Ghoul, Slay is a grey leaning lavender holo with a soft orange glow and copper metallic flakes. The formula was a tad thick but still relatively easy to work with. It took two coats for full coverage and dried smoothly except for the occasional flakie divot. No Pumpkin Way
No Pumpkin Way features a rich burnt orange holo base with a fine glowy purple shimmer and small holo gold glitters. The formula was excellent and I didn't have any issues with application. It took two coats for full coverage and dried quite smoothly. Photos show two coats of No Pumpkin Way with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Conclusion
I love both of these. Slay, Ghoul, Slay is neutral but awesome. The purple shimmer in No Pumpkin Way makes it work with my skin tone which is definitely not the case for a lot of oranges. The October duo's launch was a bit delayed so they will be available for purchase until the end of November. Until October 22nd you can grab this pair for $31CAD; a dollar off each bottle. Individual shades are priced at $16.50CAD. You can find Girly Bits Cosmetics on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
