Today I have the two Girly Bits limited edition COTM polishes for July to share with you. These shades instantly make me think of the beach; golden sand and turquoise water. Let's take a look at swatches.
Sand Of A Beach
Sand Of A Beach features a sheer golden base filled with tiny champagne gold glitters, holo glitters and pink shimmer. The formula was very easy to work with for a glitter. By that I mean you can feel that you're brushing on a glitter polish but there's no extra work getting it to self-level or cover evenly. I used two coats for full coverage. In some lighting corner cases you can see my nail lines, but the majority of the time the sparkle takes over. This does dry with a slight texture so I would recommend doubling up on top coat. Photos show two coats of Sand Of A Beach with a coat of Girly Bits Glitter Glaze followed by a coat of What A Rush in daylight spectrum lighting.
Mermaid Of Honour
Mermaid Of Honour features a bright turquoise base with a strong aqua flash, lots of small holo glitters and a subtle pink to purple shifting shimmer. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats to become opaque. The aqua flash is predominant in bright light but the pink shimmer comes out in shaded lighting. Photos show three coats of Mermaid Of Honour with one coat of Girly Bits Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Conclusion
