Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche First Impressions & Swatches

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Review

Hello readers,
Recently Bite Beauty released a new line of lipsticks, the Amuse Bouche collection.  This was a replacement for their Luminous Creme line, which set the bar very high.  I purchased two shades and snagged a mini as a 100 point perk from Sephora.

These lipsticks have a lovely citrus scent, though I didn't really notice it lingering after application.  The formula is creamy and pigmented.  It glides on the lips without any noticeable tugging and has a creamy satin finish.  The formula was very consistent between the three shades I tried out.  Let's take a look at some swatches!

I wore Eggplant for my initial wear test since it's easiest to see the contrast of a darker lip colour.  I noticed that over the first few hours the formula dried down a bit to a more matte finish but still felt very comfortable on my lips.  I didn't experience any noticeable patchiness or flaking, feathering or bleeding.  With a little midday touch up the formula easily made it through my work day including many coffees and eating lunch.  The shade Eggplant also left a nice pink stain on my lips which helped the colour last.

Overall I'm really excited about this new line.  The formula is a nice balance between creamy comfort and longer wear time.  I'm already making a wishlist of shades I want to try next.  You can find Bite Beauty on:

Happy polishing,

Michelle
