Metallic Stamped Flower Nail Art
Hello readers,
Today I have my first attempt at stamped decals to share with you. Instead of the traditional method of filling in a stamped outlined, adding a coat or two of clear and waiting for it all to dry, I tried the method wear you fill the outline on the stamper and then stamp it directly onto tacky top coat.
I started with a base of Contrary Polish Magical Manatee on my nails. Then I used China Glaze Liquid Leather for the flower pattern outline from UberChic Beauty plate 4-01. I filled the flower petals with Femme Fatale Maze Of Mirrors and then Zoya Rayne. I applied a coat of Zoya Armor top coat over Magical Manatee and while it was still tacky I stamped the flower decal onto the nail. Repeat nine more times and seal everything with a coat of Girly Bits Glitter Glaze. Photos were taken in daylight spectrum lighting.
I really love how these turned out, and the technique of getting a tacky top coat to brag the decal off the stamper saves tons of time. I'll definitely be trying more of these looks in the future.
Happy polishing,
Michelle
