Today I decided to give a glitter packed Pipe Dream Polish Shot Through The Heart a try. This polish is a rich purple jelly filled with various sizes of silver, gunmetal, purple and violet hex glitter. Again I forgot to take a bottle picture before I used it (I really need to stop doing that). It was completely full when I received it.
Just like with Pink Elephants and Lemonade I was really impressed with how well this polish layered. The first coat seemed quite sheer and I was worried I wasn't going to be able to get it opaque easily but three coats is all it took. The formula was easy to work with. No dabbing required to get the glitter evenly distributed on your nail. It also dried quite smoothly and I only added a thin top coat to avoid chipping.
The photos show three coats of Shot Through The Heart with one coat of CND Super Shiney top coat in natural sunlight. At this point I've tried half of the polishes I received from Pipe Dream Polish and I continue to be impressed. The formulas are just so easy to work with even though they're full of glitter and I don't need multiple layers of topcoat to get a smooth finish. If you like what you see you can get a bottle of your very own from https://www.etsy.com/shop/pipedreampolish. What do you think of this glitter filled purple jelly?
