Today I have the On The Rocks Collection from Live Love Polish to share with you. This collection features six glitter filled jellies in a variety of shades. Let's take a look at swatches.
Top Shelf
Top Shelf features a variety of small gold holo glitters in a clear base. The formula was quite easy to work with taking two coats for full coverage if you keep an eye out for sheer spots. This does dry with some texture so top coat is strongly recommended for a smooth shiny finish. Sangria
Sangria features a variety of small silver holo glitters in a cherry red jelly base. The formula was a bit thick but very pigmented. I used a single coat here for full coverage, though I did have to touch up the odd sheer spot. This does dry with some texture, though a bit less than the other shades in this collection. After Hours
After Hours features a variety of small silver holo glitters in an emerald green jelly base. The formula was similar to Sangria though a bit less pigmented, requiring two coats for full coverage. Similarly this does dry down with some texture, so top coat is recommended. Photos show two coats of After Hours with two coats of Live Love Polish Quick Dry Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Last Call
Last Call features a variety of small silver holo glitters in a black jelly base. This had the same formula as After Hours; a tad thick, two coats for full coverage and dries down with some texture. Happy Hour
Happy Hour features a variety of small silver holo glitters in a grape purple jelly base. In terms of application the formula was at tad thick but still quite workable. I used two coats here for full coverage though if you were careful, you could likely get away with one. I also found that this shade dried down a bit smoother than the majority of the collection. One coat of top coat will smooth out the majority of glitter bumps, and an optional second will give you a perfectly smooth finish. Another Round
Another Round features a variety of small silver holo glitters in a cobalt blue jelly base. This had the same formula as Happy Hour; one to two coats for full coverage with one to two coats of top coat for a smooth finish. Conclusion
