Hello readers,
Today I have the March COTM shades from Girly Bits Cosmetics to share with you. This month's duo features tons of shimmer, tons of shift and a healthy dose of flakies. Let's take a look at swatches.
29 & Holding
29 & Holding features a super shimmery orange to pink shifting base with lots gold to green shifting metallic flakies and scatter holo shimmer. The formula was very easy to work with taking two coats for full coverage. This dries smooth on its own but I added top coat out of habit. Photos show two coats of 29 & Holding with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
... and a couple more pictures in more shaded lighting to bring out that shift.
I Shift You Not
I Shift You Not features a teal leaning blue holo base with a strong violet flash, copper to green shifting shimmer and green to purple shifting flakies. The formula was very easy to work with. I used three coats here, but it was so close after two that if you have shorter nails or a less distinct nail line two will probably be enought. This dries smooth on its own but I top coated out of habit. Photos show three coats of I Shift You Not with one coat of Girly Bits What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
... and a couple more pictures in shaded lighting to bring out those green undertones.
Conclusion
While 29 & Holding is lovely, with my personal love of blue and teal it didn't stand a chance against I Shift You Not for the spot of my personal favorite this month. Plus, the name is punny and amazing. The March shades are available now until May 1, 2018 at 11:59pm EST for $16.50CAD each. If you purchase by March 10th, you can get the duo $31CAD.
