Zoya Party Girls Collection Swatches & Review Part II

Zoya Party Girls collection

Hello readers,
Today I have the second half of the Zoya Party Girls collection for the 2017 holiday season to share with you. If you missed the first half, you can check it out here. All caught up? Let's take a look at swatches.

Blake

Zoya BlakeZoya Party Girls

Blake features a blackened navy jelly based filled with a fine gold shimmer (which can appear green through the blue base). The formula was really pigmented, which surprised me since jellies tend to be sheer. I only needed two thin coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Blake with one coat of CND Creative Play top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Kelsey

Kelsey is described as a muted cerise pink creme. Though personally, I wouldn't call this muted as it is quite vibrant. The formula was amazing; really pigmented and the perfect consistency. This one is so close to being a one-coater but it's just not quite there. I used two easy this coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Kelsey with one coat of CND Creative Play top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Fallon

Fallon is a medium magenta pearl shimmer. This is another shade that pleasantly surprised me with its pigmented formula. Two easy thin coats were needed for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Fallon with one coat of CND Creative Play top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Sheri

Sheri is described as a medium garnet red creme. However, personally I would call this one a jelly. The formula was easy to work with, just be careful not to overload your brush as it has a slightly thinner than usual consistency. I used two coats here, but now that I look at the photos, I probably should have added a third to cover up my nail line in bright lighting. Landon

Landon is a deep muted plum creme. The formula was excellent taking two easy thin coats to become opaque. Photos show two coats of Landon with one coat of CND Creative Play top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Ming

Zoya MingZoya Party Girls

Ming is a medium scarlet red creme. The formula was very easy to work with and dries with a slightly squishy look, though not to the same extent as Sheri. In terms of colour, Ming is a bit lighter and a bit brighter than Sheri and has a more pigmented formula. Photos show two coats of Ming with one coat of CND Creative Play top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Conclusion

Even with the addition of some reds, this still feels like a fall collection to me. Setting that aside, there are lots of great options in here and the formulas were consistently good. My personal favorites form the polishes in this post are Blake and Landon. The entire Party Girls collection is available now. You can find Zoya on

Happy polishing,

Michelle
