Hello readers,
Today I have the new F.U.N Lacquer Moonlight Gala collection, exclusive to Live Love Polish, to share with you. This collection feature a mix of shimmer and sparkle perfect for the holiday season. Let's take a look at swatches.
Moonlight Gala
Moonlight Gala features a blue jelly base filled with tons of aqua blue shimmer and a good dose of small silver holo glitters. The formula was relatively easy to work with, taking three coats for full coverage. I was anticipating the silver glitters to dry down a bit uneven, but I was pleasantly surprised with the polish dried smoothly. This has such a bright glowy finish to it. Flashing Lights
Flashing Lights features a pale grey scatter holo base with a strong pink shimmer and copper flash. The formula was easy to work with taking three coats for full coverage. This dries to a satin finish so I recommend a glossy top coat if you like your polish shiny. Paparazzi
Paparazzi features a clear base filled with sterling silver flakes and gold glitters. This shade is advertised as a full-coverage polish so that's how I tried it out. The formula was sheer. Even with three relatively thick coats I can still see through to my nail bed. Three thick coats also means a long drying time. The glitters do dry with a texture, so top coat is definitely recommended. Overall, not a great full coverage formula. However, the first coat was easy and even so I think this would work much better topper over a different base shade. RSVP
RSVP features a deep purple holo base with small silver holo glitters and a strong pink to green shifting shimmer. The formula was very easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. This does dry quite smoothly, but a glossy top coat does bring the complexities of the polish together. Best Dressed
Best Dressed features a berry red jelly base with small silver holo glitters and orange iridescent flakes. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. Despite the glitters and flakes this shade managed to dry quite smoothly. I was pleasantly surprised. Invite Only
Invite Only is a pale silver holo with a violet flecked shimmer. The formula was quite sheer. Even after three coats my nail lines are still peeking through. I also found that this shade took longer than usual to dry which lead to some dragging. Give yourself some extra time between coats to avoid this. Conclusion
My personal favorites are Moonlight Gala and RSVP. Best Dressed is also a great option if red is your colour. The Moonlight Gala collection is available exclusively on Live Love Polish. You can find them on
