Girly Bits Cosmetics Fall Collection Part 1 Swatches & Review

Girly bits Fall 2017 collection

Hello readers,
A couple weeks ago I shared a bunch of stamped nail art looks I put together using the polishes from Part 1 of the Girly Bits Cosmetics Fall Collection. If you missed it, you can check them out here. Today I have the other half of my review using these five fall cremes as regular polishes to share with you.

It's Near Leaf All

It's Near Leaf All is a bright khaki green (is that a thing? it is now!) creme. The formula was easy to work with and took just one coat for full coverage. It dried shiny on its own but I added topcoat like I always do. Photos show one coat of It's Near Leaf All with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush topcoat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Sea You Next Fall

Girly Bits Sea You Next FallGirly Bits Sea You Next Fall Review

Sea You Next Fall is a teal leaning rich blue creme. Full disclosure: I could not get this one to photograph accurately no matter what I tried. It does lean more teal in real life than it looks in these photos, so keep that in mind. As far as application goes, it has the same great pigmented one coat formula as It's Near Leaf All. Walnuts About You

Walnuts About You is a medium taupe creme. The formula on this one was a bit thicker that the rest of the collection, but still relatively easy to work with. Like the rest, one coat for full coverage and it dries shiny. Photos show one coat of Walnuts About You with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush topcoat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Butternut Leave Me

Butternut Leave Me is a medium mustard yellow creme. I thought this was going to look horrible with my skin tone, but to my surprise, it actually complements it quite nicely. I'm going to call this one a one-and-a-half coater. If you keep an eye out for sheer spots, you can definitely get full coverage in a single coat (like I did here). Otherwise, two thin coats will do the trick. Photos show one coat of Butternut Leave Me with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush topcoat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Stump Up The Jam

Stump Up The Jam is a dark (almost but not quite black) espresso brown creme. It had the same excellent one coat formula as the It's Near Leaf Fall and Sea You Next Fall.  Photos show one coat of Stump Up The Jam with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush topcoat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Conclusion

Holy crap. This is the first collection I've tried where every single polish lived up to their one-coat claim. My personal favorite of the bunch is Sea You Next Fall. Not a big surprise considering my love of teals and blues. If you love super pigmented cremes, you definitely need to grab these. They are available now for $15CAD each. You can find Girly Bits Cosmetics on

Happy polishing,

Michelle
