Today I have Chirality Polish's contribution to Polish Pickup's December release to share with you. This month's collection was inspired by holidays around the world and this polish was inspired by Guy Fawkes Night. Let's take a look at swatches.
Guy Fawkes Night fireworks celebration in Scotland
After The Bonfire features a teal crelly base filled with a variety of purple glitters and flakes along with some small holo hex glitters. The formula was for the most part easy to work with. I did have a couple flakes that need some extra nudging to lie flat on the nail, but other than that, no issues. I used three coats for full coverage, but if you have short nails or a less distinct nail line then you could likely use two. This does dry slightly uneven due to the flakes, so I recommend a good glossy top coat. Photos show three coats of After The Bonfire with two coats of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
I really like the purple and teal colour combination in this polish. I'm also quite happy to see the glitter crelly finish making an appearance. After The Bonfire, along with all the other holiday inspired polishes, will be available for pre-order on the Polish Pickup website for four days beginning December 1st, 2017 at 11AM EST.
