Hello readers,
Today I have some lush green nail art to share with you. I wasn't quite sure what look I was going for with this combo, but the result reminds of trying to peak through tree leaves to see what's behind - so jungle leaf nail art it is!
I started with three coats of Pipe Dream Polish Time in a Tapestry. Then I used Born Pretty Store's Green Stamping Polish and Decor Unhas plate DU 02 for the leafy design. I filled in the occasional leaf with China Glaze Glistening Snow. Some CND Super Shiney top coat sealed everything up.
The BPS stamping polish had some pros and cons. It was very pigmented and really easy to use. I had no issues picking up the design or getting a crisp stamped image. I also found that it was really resistant to smudging when using top coat over top. However, it did have a strong smell. It kind of reminded me of white out. Not a deal breaker for me, however if you're sensitive to scents it's something to be aware of. Overall the pros outweigh the cons for me and I'd like to try some other colours from the same line.
You can find Born Pretty Store on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
