Femme Fatale Cosmetics Stars Of Heaven Falling Swatches & Review
Hello readers,
Today I have another shade from the Femme Fatale Little Mermaid collection to share with you. Lots of interesting multichromes have been appearing in recent indie collections recently, and this one is no exception.
Stars Of Heaven Falling features a multichrome base that shifts from indigo to purple to gold with a sprinkling of teeny holo glitters and a couple sizes of red to green shifting hex glitters. The formula is somewhat patchy on the first coat but layers up beautifully becoming opaque on the second. The glitters are a little bumpy so I recommend a second coat of top coat for a nice smooth finish. Also, this shade does highlight nail ridges (can you see the crack across my middle finger?) so a ridge filling base coat might be your friend if this concerns you. Photos show two coats of Stars Of Heaven Falling with one coat of Gelous and one coat of CND Super Shiney top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Shaded lighting brings out warmer purple tones and a stronger shift to gold (which was really hard to capture in a picture).
Fun fact: despite the glitters, this polish was actually pretty easy to remove. That's definitely a bonus. You can find Femme Fatale Cosmetics on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
