Today I have Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer's contribution to The Color Box's green edition that came out last December. I managed to snag this second hand but it's also still available by itself in the Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer shop. Let's take a look at swatches.
Green's Alexandrite With Me features an emerald green base with metallic green flakies and a blue to purple shifting shimmer. The blue shimmer is quite visible and the purple shimmer comes out in very shaded lighting. I found the formula on this one quite thick, though it was very pigmented - almost a one coater. I added a second just to be sure, but I probably didn't need to. I think I'll add a bit of thinner and make it a true two coater for future use though. This polish dried smoothly with a satin finish, so definitely add a glossy top coat to bring out the shimmer and depth of this shade. Photos show two coats of Green's Alexandrite With Me with one coat of Hong Kong Girl top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
I really like The Color Box because after the initial release, makers have the chance to release their shades individually. That means you can grab this particular polish even though the green box's sale period has come and gone. You can find Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer on
