Hello readers,
Today I have three more shades of Bite Beauty's Amuse Bouch Lipsticks to share with you. I was really impressed with the first few shades I tried from this line so it was guaranteed more were going to make their way into my collection. Let's take a look at swatches of Taro, Berry Rouge and Thistle.
Taro
Taro is a medium greyed purple. The formula was very pigmented and applied flawlessly. This isn't your traditional purple lipstick and adds an edgier shade to Bite's lineup.
Berry Rouge
Berry Rouge is a deep, you guessed it, berry. This shade is exclusive to Sephora VIB Rouge members, so if it needs to be yours, make friends with one fast. Though the lipstick bullet leans more eggplant, on the lips this colour leans more red with cool blue undertones. This stuff was super pigmented and will stain your lips. It also has quite a creamy formula that could be prone to transfer. I recommend using a lip liner with this one to keep edges crisp and in place. This just screams fall, doesn't it?
Thistle
Thistle is a pale greyed out mauve creme. This shade was more sheer than the others. You can blend it out or build it up with a few swipes for more opaque coverage. Nude lips anyone?
Conclusion
I'm loving the variety of shades that Bite Beauty continues to release. There's even a navy blue which I've been working up the nerve to purchase. My personal favorite of these three is Rouge Berry. There's something so refined about a deep berry lip. You can find Bite Beauty on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
