Today I have Paint It Pretty Polish's shade for January's Polish Pickup to share with you. January's theme is Written In The Stars. Let's take a look at swatches
Fiery Ram features a dark purple based filled with a purple to copper to green shifting magnetic shimmer, small silver holo flackes and tiny indigo metallic flakes. I applied one coat normally and then used an arc magnet after the second coat, as well as after top coat. Top coat helps with a nice smooth finish and really brings out the shimmer. Photos show two coats of Fiery Ram with one coat of Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

ReplyDeleteI used the Lantern & Wren arc magnet which I purchased from Girly Bits Cosmetics. It works the same as a bar magnet except that instead of pulling all the shimmer towards the magnet to created a stripe, it pushes the shimmer away to either side of the magnet creating the two curved areas on the top and bottom of the nail.
