Hello readers,
Today I'm sharing two untried and one very long time since I've tried Pretty & Polished shades from my collection. Let's take a look at swatches.
Snowbound And Down
Snowbound And Down features a white crelly base filled with medium white and aqua blue glitters. The formula was nice to work with and took three coats for full coverage. This does dry down with some mild glitter bumps so top coat is recommended for a smooth shiny finish. Photos show three coats of Snowbound And Down with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Who Wears Short Shorts
Who Wears Short Shorts features a periwinkle blue crelly base filled with a violet flecked shimmer and small blue glitters. The formula was good and took two coats for full coverage. This shade dries down to a satin finish so top coat is recommended for shine. Photos show two coats of Who Wears Short Shorts with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Wish Yule Were Here
Wish Yule Were Here features a shimmery grape purple base filled with small to medium glitters in shades of white, blue and yellow. The formula was a tad thin requiring some fishing for glitter in the bottle, but application was easy. I used three coats here for full coverage. Final Thoughts
My personal favorite of the three is Snowbound And Down. Unfortunately Pretty & Polished is no longer in business but you may be able to find these in destashes.
Happy polishing,
Michelle
