Today I have two shades from Burt's Bees' Satin Lipstick line to share with you. These lipsticks feature a hydrating creamy formula made from 100% natural ingredients. Burt's Bees lip balm has been a staple in my household for decades, so I was curious to try out their cosmetics line too. Let's take a look at swatches.
Lily Lake
Lily Lake is a pale rose pink. The formula was very creamy and felt comfortable on the lips. That creamy formula also means this shade will transfer so be prepared for the colour to fade if you don't reapply. In terms of pigmentation this shade had sheer to medium pigmentation depending on how much your built it up. I used 2-3 swipes to get the coverage in the photo below and my natural lip colour still shows through a little bit.
Blush Basin
Blush Basin in a medium berry pink. This one was a smidge more pigmented than Lily Lake and I felt like I got the same amount of coverage with less layers. This shares the same comfortable creamy formula.
Conclusion
My personal favorite of the two is Blush Basin. It was a little more pigmented and I preferred the colour for my skin tone. If you like creamy comfortable lipsticks and aren't afraid of having to reapply then these could be good options for you. You can find Burt's Bees on
