Today I have the Candy Heart Cremes collection from BLUSH Lacquers to share with you. This collection is half of their spring release and features six creme shades inspired by the classic phrase heart candies. Let's take a look at swatches.
Angel
Angel is a pale banana yellow creme. In some lighting I found it had the slightest green undertone as well. The formula was easy to work with, especially for a yellow. I used three coats here for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Angel with one coat of Essie Gel Setter top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
As If
As If is a pale peachy creme. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. This shade dries relatively shiny on its own but I added top coat out of habit. Photos show three coats of As If with one coat of Essie Gel Setter top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Be Mine
Be Mine is a pastel bubblegum pink creme. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. This dried quite shiny on its own but I added top coat out of habit. Photos show three coats of Be Mine with one coat of Essie Gel Setter top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Kiss Me
Kiss Me is a pale lilac purple creme. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage on my nails. However, it was so close after two that those with shorter nails or a less distinct nail line may find two is enough. True Love
True Love is a pale blue creme. Another easy three coat formula here. Photos show three coats of True Love with one coat of Essie Gel Setter top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
You & Me
You & Me is a pale blue leaning turquoise creme. I used three thin coats for full coverage here. Photos show three coats of You & Me with one coat of Essie Gel Setter top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Final Thoughts
My personal favorites from this collection are True Love and You & Me, though that's really just due to personal colour preference. They all had consistent three coat formulas.
