Hello readers,
Today I have two shades of Almay's Make Them Jelly Hi-Lite to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
The Make Them Jelly Hi-Lite features a mix of shimmer and tiny glitters in a thick clear gel base. The formula was easy to apply on larger areas, but tricky for targeted application. This was especially true of the pink shade, Unicorn Light, which seemed to glob up into small clumps when I tried to get a small amount on my finger tip.

That makes it tricky for use on your face. The other aspect that made it less than ideal as a face highlight is it seemed to melt any makeup under the spot I tried to apply it to.
However, this works quite well as a body glitter. Either apply it alone or mix it with moisturizer. It spreads out quite easily and has minimal tackiness once you let it dry down for a few minutes.
Unicorn Light
Unicorn Light features shimmer and glitters in shades of pink, gold and violet.

24K Dreams
24K Dreams has predominantly yellow gold tones but I also see sparks of pink and violet in there too.

First Impressions
Of the two shades I found 24K Dreams was a little bit easier to work with as it didn't glob up quite as much as Unicorn Dreams though it was still very thick. Overall I think this product lends itself best to being used as a body glitter, for which the formula works very well. If you were interested in it as a face highlight however, I would pass. In general I'm excited to see Almay trying out products like this as colourful glitters aren't something I traditionally associate with the brand. You can find Almay on
