Hello readers,
Shopping my own collection worked out so well for 2018 that I'm continuing the challenge to myself this year too! For the first brand of 2019 I chose Cadillacquer and wore every single untried from them that I own. Let's take a look at swatches.
Banshee

Banshee features a deep purple-leaning red jelly base filled with small red glitters. The formula was sheer on the first coats but built up nicely to full coverage in three. Photos show three coats of Banshee with one coat of Essie Gel Couture top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Bloodlines

Bloodlines features a pale grey holo base with teeny charcoal grey specks. In shaded lighting I found this took on a soft lavendar tone as well. The formula was excellent and took three thin coats for full coverage. However, it was so close after two that those with shorter nails or a less distinct nail line that me will likely find two is enough. Fermion

Fermion features a pale pink leaning purple crelly base filled with tiny black glitters, small silver glitters and soft peach flecked shimmer. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. However, it was so close after two that those with shorter nails or a less distinct nail line than me may find two is enough. This shade dries down with a little texture from the glitters so top coat is recommended for a nice smooth finish. Zenosyne

Zenosyne features a black jelly base filled with small silver glitters, scatter holo shimmer and maroon shimmer. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. This dries quite smoothly despite all the little glitter in there but I added top coat for a perfect finish. Apricity

Apricity features a pale blue-green crelly base filled with a few sizes of violet glitters. The formula was a bit sheer but built up to full coverage in three coats. This dries with to a waxy finish and a little bit of texture so top coat is definitely recommended. Equilibrium

Equilibrium features a teal jelly base filled with tiny red glitters. The formula was easy to apply and took three coats for full coverage. This shade dries quite shiny on its own but I added top coat out of habit. Photos show three coats of Equilibrium with one coat of Essie Gel Couture top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

The Full Blossom Of The Evening

The Full Blossom Of The Evening features a pale icy blue shimmery holo base filled with tiny white glitters, small jewel tone metallic flakes and a strong green flash. The formula seems sheer at fist but builds up nicely in three coats. This dries down fairly smoothly but I would still recommend top coat for a perfect finish. A Rare Gift

A Rare Gift features a pale blue jelly base filled with tiny pink and blue iridescent flecks. The formula was easy to apply though sheer. Even after three coats my nail lines still show through a little bit, especially in bright lighting. Final Thoughts
I'm not picking favorites because it's too hard. In general, I love that Cadillacquer still puts out glitter crellies which result in the perfect speckled look. You can find Cadillacquer on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
