Hello readers,
Today I'm wrapping up my reviews of past My Mani Boxes from Beautometry. October 2018's box was Fantastic Beasts themed. I swatched the included polish and put together some stamped nail art using the items inside. Let's take a look.
What Was In The October Box?
MoYou London Enchanted Collection - 09 Stamping Plate
MoYou London Enchated Collection - 11 Stamping Plate
Beautometry Blue Morpho Nail Stamper
Moyra Stamping Top Coat

Dual Ended Cleanup Brush & Flower Magnetic Wand

Hermione features a deep muted pink base filled with pink to green shifting magnetic shimmer. On my index and pink finger I used two coats unmagnetized to show you what it looks like when applied normally. On my middle and fourth fingers I applied two coats normally and then used the flower magnetic wand on the third coat to create the starburst design. Photos show Hermione, two coats unmagmetized and three coats magnetized, with one coat of Essie Gel Couture Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Nail Art
On my index, middle and pinky fingers I started with a base of China Glaze Dashboard Dreamer and then stamped the leafy pattern from MoYou London Enchanted plate 09 with China Glaze DJ Blue My Mind. On my ring finger I started with a base of China Glaze DJ Blue My Mind and then stamped the frog design from MoYou London Enchanted plate 11 with Girly Bits Cosmetics You Can't Handle The Spruce. Finally, a coat of Moyra Stamping Top Coat to seal everything up.
Final Thoughts
My favorite item in this box is the stamper. Clear stampers can be really finicky and this one is the stickiest and easiest one I've ever used. You can get the My Mani Box for $35USD per month. If you prepay for a longer sub (3, 6 or 12 months) you'll also get a discounted price. You can find My Mani Box on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
