Today I have another item from Born Pretty Store to show you. I decided to try out their stamping polish in a colour that I've had trouble finding a nice opaque version of - purple.
I tried this stamping polish with my Born Pretty Store XL stamper as well as my Moyou London XL Marshmellow stamper. The stamping polish worked well with both of them. I did have an issue with some of my plates though. Because this stamping polish dries so quickly, it does not work well with plates that have shallower etchings. After scraping, the polish dries pretty much instantly in the shallow designs making it impossible to pick up cleanly. I tried both stamper types along with a plate from the Pueen buffet collection and no matter what I tried, I just couldn't get them to work together. However, once I switched to a Moyou London plate with a deeper design, I had no problems. Something to keep in mind if you're contemplating using these stamping polishes with your plate collection.
The nail art below features A-England Captive Goddess stamped with Born Pretty Store Nail Art Template Stamping Polish Varnish in #1 Purple. I used Moyou London Explorer Plate 22 for the design. Finally I sealed everything up with a coat of Essence Gel-Look top coat. Photos were taken in daylight spectrum lighting.
Overall this stamping polish works well with deeply etched plates but is very finicky with shallower plates. The colour itself is very opaque and shows up nicely over the base colour.
