Hello readers,
Today I have a glitter packed polish from Reverie Nail Lacquer to show you. Reverie is know for their jelly + glitter polishes, so I was excited to try this one out since it added a shimmery base twist to the mix.
Aubergine features a flecked shimmer dark purple base packed with blue, pink, aqua and gold glitters in various shapes and sizes. I did find the formula quite this and had a little trouble getting it to apply evenly. In between the first and second coat I added a little bit of thinner and this solved all my problems. Due to the very shimmery base it reached opacity in just two coats. I did need a layer of Gelous to smooth out the glitters but that's somewhat to be expected with glitter bombs. Photos show two coats of Aubergine with one coat of Gelous and one coat of Essence Gel-Look top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
I love the shimmer + glitter bomb combo. Though the formula was a little tricky at first, I'm glad it was easily fixed. You can find Reverie Nail Lacquer on:
