Today I'm starting to work through swatching my Picture Polish collection. Let's take a look at swatches.
Saphira
Saphira features a deep navy blue jelly base filled with small to medium silver holo glitters and tiny silver holo flecks. The formula was easy to work with and nicely pigmented taking tow coats for full coverage. Hope
Hope features a deep teal leaning blue jelly base filled with a find flecked silver holo shimmer, tiny blue glitters and a sprinkling of medium sapphire blue glitters. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Hope with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush in daylight spectrum lighting.
Fool's Gold
Fool's Gold features a turquoise blue crelly base filled with small gold glitters and a fine gold flecked shimmer. Another easy to work with formula that took three coats for full coverage. Ocean
Ocean features a medium jelly blue base filled with a silver holo flecked shimmer. The formula was easy to work with though sheer. After three coats my nail lines still show through pretty clearly. Calm
Calm features a medium blue jelly base filled with large particle scatter holo shimmer. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Calm with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Aurora
Aurora features a clear base filled with fine purple to blue to green shifting shimmer and tiny purple to green shifting glitters. I used it as a topper here over Zoya Ryan, a deep navy blue. I used two coats for even more shifty shimmer but it did have nice even coverage after one as well. This shade did dry down fairly matte with a little glitter texture so top coat is recommended. Final Thoughts
My personal favorites from this round up are Fool's Gold and Saphira. You can find Picture Polish on
