Brand Challenge: Model City Polish

Hello readers,
Today I have six shades from my Model City Polish collection to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.

Glisten

Glisten features a pale grey crelly base filled with silver scatter holo shimmer and small silver holo glitters. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. Grape Crush

Grape Crush features a grape purple jelly base filled with silver scatter holo shimmer and small silver holo glitters. The formula was excellent and quite pigmented, especially for a jelly. I used three coats for full coverage here. Photos show three coats of Grape Crush with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush in daylight spectrum lighting.

PB & J

PB & J features a deep purple jelly base filled with small to medium gold holo glitters. The formula was relatively easy to work with. I used two coats here, but could have added a third for more glitters. This does dry down with some glitter bumps so top coat is recommended. Pennyroyal

Pennyroyal features a super pale purple crelly base filled with scatter holo shimmer and tiny purple iridescent flakies. No issues with the formula and I used three coats for full coverage. Purple Dragon

Purple Dragon features a saturated purple crelly base filled with a deep blue flecked shimmer. The formula was a tad sheer in spots. Next time I'd wait some extra time in between coats and I think it would work out better. This shade dries down matte so top coat is recommended for shine. Wrapped In Wool

Wrapped In Wool features a medium grey crelly base filled with silver scatter holo shimmer and small silver holo glitters. The formula was easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. Final Thoughts

My personal favorites from this selection are Grape Crush and Glisten, with Purple Dragon a close third. Unfortunately Model City Polish is no longer in business so you'll have to keep an eye on destashes if any caught your eye.
