Emily de Molly June 2020 Release Swatches & Review

Emily De Molly June 2020 Release

Hello readers,
Today I have Emily de Molly's June release to share with you. This collection has ten polishes so get ready for lots of pictures. Let's take a look at swatches.

Thereabouts

Emily De Molly ThereaboutsEmily De Molly Thereabouts

Thereabouts features a saturated purple crelly base filled with small to medium neon pink hex glitters. The formula was quite easy to work with and I used two coats for full coverage here. It does dry with some glitters bumps so top coat is recommended for a nice smooth finish. Photos show two coats of Thereabouts with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Distinct Lines

Distinct Lines features a warm pink base filled with small gold flakes and a soft silver magnetic shimmer. I used three coats here, the first two applied normally and then I used an arc magnet with the third. Hands Held High

Hands Held High features a light lilac base filled with a strong golden shimmer. The formula was easy to work with and surprisingly pigmented for a lighter shade. I used two coats here for full coverage. I did get some minor brush strokes as the polish dried down but top coat melted them away. Open Work

Open Work features a blurple tinted base filled with a large particle purple to gold to green shifting foiled shimmer. The formula was very easy to work with. I used two coats here and though my nail lines seem to show through a little in the swatch pictures, this definitely looked opaque to my eyes. A New Place

A New Place features a pale grey crelly base filled with pink to gold to green shifting metallic flakies. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. It did dry down with some flakie divots so top coat is recommended. Photos show three coats of A New Place with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Day To Day

Day To Day features a pale taupe base filled with tiny blue metallic flakes. The formula was excellent. I used three coats here for full coverage, but it was so close after two that if you have shorter nails or a less distinct nail line than me two will likely be enough. Photos show three coats of Day To Day with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
