Hello readers,
I'm continuing to work my way through my untried polishes from Girly Bits Cosmetics. Let's take a look at swatches.
Party Gras
Party Gras features an off white crelly base filled with a fine pink shimmer and small glitters and flakies in shades of green, purple and bronze. The formula was easy to work with and I got 95% coverage in three coats. My nail lines just show through the tiniest bit on some nails. Mint-al Precision
Mint-al Precision features a bright turquoise crelly base filled with a flecked shimmer in shades of gold and blue. The formula was nicely pigment though a little thick. I used two coats here for full coverage. This shade does dry down to a matte finish so top coat is recommended. Eww Yucca!
Eww Yucca! features a muted purple base with pink to copper to green shifting shimmer and a sprinkling of pink to gold to green shifting metallic flakies. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Eww Yucca! with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Food Fight!
Food Fight! features a grey jelly base filled with small to medium iridescent blue glitters and tiny silver holo glitters. The formula was easy to apply but a tad sheer. My nail lines still show through in direct lighting. Photos show three coats of Food Fight! with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Oceans Apart
Oceans Apart features a bright turquoise base filled with tiny sheer silvery-white and blue flecks. The formula was excellent and took three thin coats for full coverage. However, it was so close after two that two may be enough for some. Photos show three coats of Oceans Apart with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Showgirl Plucker
Showgirl Plucker features a teal scatter holo base filled with tiny blue and purple glitters and a sprinkling of tiny silver flakes. The formula was excellent and took two thin coats for full coverage.
