Hello readers,
The last few months have been so busy that I haven't had much of a chance to shop shades from my collection. However, I renewed my challenge to myself in July and dug into my pile of untried Girly Bits. Specifically, I aimed for polishes I received as part of Mystery Packs or Mystery One Of A Kind (OOAK) listings. These are often small batches for which there's no recipe, custom overpours, testers and concept bottles. Overall these are all perfectly good polishes that just aren't going to make it into a full collection or regular release. I can't resist a mystery and have bought several of these over the years.
Midnight In Paris

Midnight In Paris (an overpour of a custom order) features a white crelly base with a fine gold shimmer. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. I added top coat for a perfect shiny finish. Photos show three coats of Midnight In Paris with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

OOAK (Blue Holo)

This OOAK shade is a strong blue holo with a slight golden sheen. The formula was easy to work with taking two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of OOAK with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Sample 1895

Sample 1895 features a light purple-leaning pink holo base with small blue and green metallic flakes. The formula was easy to work with taking two coats for full coverage. This shade dried to a matte finish so I added top coat for shine. Photos show two coats of Sample 1895 with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Sample 1910

Sample 1910 features a pale grey base with tiny silver holo glitters, tiny blue glitters, charcoal flecks and a green to pink shifting shimmer. The formula was easy to work with taking two coats for full coverage. In bright lighting the shimmer leans predominantly green but in shaded lighting the pink shift is more apparent and occasionally there are tones of gold as well. This shade dried with a tiny bit of texture from the glitters but nothing top coat couldn't handle. Sample 1888

Sample 1888 features a dark charcoal grey (almost black) holo base with tiny red and silver flecks. The formula was a tad thick though still relatively easy to apply. I used two coats here for full coverage. This shade dried down to a matte finish so I added top coat for shine. Sample 1865

Sample 1865 features a deep blurple base with a fine red shimmer and tiny copper flecks. The formula was easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. This shade dried down to a satin finish so I added top coat for shine. Conclusion
Overall Midnight In Paris is my favorite shade of the bunch. There's just something about a crisp white nail. You can find Girly Bits on
Happy polishing,
