Paint It Pretty Polish Magnetic Collection Swatches & Review

Paint It Pretty Polish review

Hello readers,
Today I have some new shades from Paint It Pretty Polish to share with you. Paint It Pretty has an upcoming collection with mix of holo and multichrome magnetic shades and I have three of them on the blog today. Let's take a look at swatches.

Opposites Attract

Opposites Attract features a grey-blue base with soft purple shift and magnetic turquoise shimmer. The formula was a bit sheer though built up to full coverage in three coats. I applied the first two coats normally and then used the magnet on the third coat while it was still wet. The magnetic effect is this shade is quite subtle. I didn't get a distinct stripe but more of a shimmer that rippled as I moved my nails. Photos show three coats of Opposites Attract with one coat of CND Creative Play top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Magnetic Fields

Magnetic Fields features a black base with silver scatter holo shimmer and a deep purple magnetic shimmer. If you don't use a magnet on this shade it looks dark purple overall. If you do use a magnet you get black with a purple stripe. The formula was easy to work with though a teeny bit sheer. I used three coats for full coverage. The first I applied normally, and then I used a bar magnet on the last two to create a crisp purple stripe. I also used the magnet after applying top coat. Force Field

Force Field features a black base with silver scatter holo shimmer and a navy blue magnetic shimmer. If you don't use a magnet on this shade it looks blackened blue overall. If you do use a magnet you get black with a blue stripe. The formula was the same as Magnetic Fields, requiring three coats for full coverage using a magnet on all but the first for a nice crisp line. The only thing I did differently here was wait a little longer for the polish to dry before adding top coat so I didn't need to use the magnet after top coat too. Photos show three coats of Force Field with one coat of CND Creative Play  top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
