Hello readers,
Today I have Hello Waffle Cosmetics' September Visage box to share with you. If you hadn't heard, the Hello Waffle brand is now being run by Caitlin of Shiro Cosmetics. This month's visage is the first one fully curated under the new ownership, brings together the Shiro and Hello Waffle brands, and was inspired by the tale of The Princess and the Pea. Let's take a look at swatches.
Hello Waffle Cosmetics Twenty Mattresses Eyeshadow
Twenty Mattresses is a grape purple with a satin sheen. The formula was a bit patchy, but with a little effort you can get nice opaque coverage over primer.

Hello Waffle Cosmetics The Hidden Pea Eyeshadow
The Hidden Pea is a bright pea green with a gold shimmer. The formula was very pigmented and very easy to work with. Primer definitely helps bring out the bright colour and sheen.

Hello Waffle Cosmetics Beds Of Eider Down Fairy Dust Overshadow
Beds Of Eider Down is a super shiny and sparkly icy blue with hints of silver and purple. Though this is officially designed to be worn over a base shade, you could definitely wear it on its own. Primer will really help keep all those shiny flecks glued down.

Hello Waffle Cosmetics A Real Princess Blush
A Real Princess is a matte fuchsia blush. It looks quite bright in the jar, but blends out to a subtler finish. Hello Waffle usually does shimmery blushes so I was really happy to see a matte option making into the mix.

Howl Cosmetics Sleepless Night Lipstick
Sleepless Night is a deep purple lipstick. Unfortunately my tube wouldn't twist up but an email to customer service got everything sorted out. In the meantime I just used a lip brush to get this shade onto my lips. The formula itself has medium pigmentation and a satin finish. The pink of my lips definitely peeks through to make it a bit warmer and brighter on my lips than in the tube.

Shiro Cosmetics Royal Standards Glow
Shiro Royal Standards is a glowy creme multitasker that leaves a soft pink sheen. The finish is quite subtle but still lovely.

Conclusion
Overall I'm really happy with this month. The shadows are really fun and I don't think I have many similar things in my collection. I also love the Howl lipstick, despite the uncooperative packaging. You can find Hello Waffle Cosmetics on
