Hello readers,
Today I have Hello Waffle Cosmetics' August Visage box to share with you. This month was inspired by the movie Mean Girls which means lots of pink. Let's take a look at swatches.
Hello Waffle Cosmetics Wednesdays Eyeshadow
Wednesdays features a super bright magenta base with tons of blue and pink sparks. The result is lots of colour and lots of sparkle. This shadow was a bit sheer but buildable over primer.

Hello Waffle Cosmetics I'm A Cool Mom Eyeshadow
I'm A Cool Mom is a deep muted rose with a soft gold sheen. This one was also a bit sheer and really benefits from primer if you want good colour payoff.

Hello Waffle Cosmetics Cold Hard Shiny Plastic Eyeshadow
Cold Hard Shiny Plastic features a metallic gunmetal grey base with green undertones and a strong golden sheen. The formula was super pigmented and a breeze to apply. Primer will definitely help glue down all those shimmer particles and bring out the metallic finish.

Hello Waffle Cosmetics Personally Victimized Blush
Personally Victimized is a pink leaning pink blush with a deep golden shimmer. The formula for this shade was quite pigmented, especially for a blush. I think you could use it as an eyeshadow as well.

Beauty Bar Baby So Fetch Liquid Lipstick
So Fetch is a medium cool toned pink with a pearly pink shimmer. It has a strong bubblegum scent, which I found a bit off putting. It made me think of the cheap cosmetics I bought as a teenager. The formula was relatively easy to apply, though it felt somewhat heavy on the lips. This liquid lipstick does dry down a little, but there is still some transfer. Overall I like the colour but the formula and scent just aren't doing it for me.

Conclusion
This month was a bit of a bust for me. I didn't really fall in love with any of the eyeshadows and some I don't see myself using at all. The blush isn't a shade I normally go for, but I can see myself using it in an eye look. Luckily months like these have been rare for me over the course of my Visage subscription.
