Femme Fatale Cosmetics Glacier Nether Swatches & Review
Hello readers,
Today I have one of the exclusives polishes from Beauty So Fly to share with you. Blue base with green shimmer? You know I had to have it.
Glacier Nether features a sheer blue base packed with a strong green shimmer, blue, silver and pink hex glitters along with pink and silver shards. The formula was alright - not great but not terrible. I found the base to be somewhat patchy. I had to pay close attention and touch up a few sheer spots to get it opaque in two coats. The hex glitter cooperated well but I did have a couple of shards that just would not lay flat. I ended up waiting for the first coat of top coat to dry, taking a fine grit nail file to the ends of the shards that were poking up and then adding a second coat of top coat. In general, if you don't have any pokey shard glitters then one coat of top coat will smooth out the polish for the most part but two is required for a super gloss even shine. Photos show two coats of Glacier Nether with two coats of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze in daylight spectrum lighting.
I'm not sure how I feel about this one. The end look is very pretty but I kind of wish it didn't have those pesky shard glitters that made application more difficult than it needed to be. You can find Glacier Nether along with a few other exclusive shades on Beauty So Fly. In general you can find Femme Fatale on:
