BVspa by Bon Vital' Salt and Sugar Scrubs Review
Hello readers,
Today I have a line of body scrubs that recently became available to Canadians to share with you. I've stated many times that I prefer a natural grit in my scrubs instead of the tiny plastic beads. I find they are just more effective, and they are significantly better for the environment. The Canadian government agrees, and recently banned microbeads by adding it to the Environmental Protection Act's list of toxic substances. BVspa skips the microbeads and brings together natural ingredients to create some effective and delicious smelling scrubs.

Hello Waffle Cosmetics Visage July 2016 Swatches & Review
Hello readers,
Today I have the July 2016 edition of Hello Waffle Cosmetics' Visage subscription to share with you. This month's theme was Tamamo No Mae, which is the first theme since I subscribed that was unknown to me. Tamamo No Mae is a mischievous fox spirit from Japanese folklore. This fox spirit disguised itself as a young courtesan who was both beautiful and extremely intelligent making her irresistible to the emperor. Tamamo No Mae made the emperor ill, hoping to take over his rule but was discovered by a fortune teller brought in to determine the source of the emperor's illness. The fox spirit escaped to the countryside where it was eventually hunted down by the emperor's army so it wouldn't cause any more trouble in the land. The warm oranges, browns and neutrals that come to mind when you think of a fox were the inspiration for this month's colour scheme.

Blue And Silver Floral Stamped Nail Art Featuring Born Pretty Store Plate BP-80
Hello readers,
Today I have some nail art to share with you that I did using Born Pretty Store's stamping plate BP-80. This plate features a mix of floral and bird designs. The quality was very good. The designs seem deeply etched and I had no issues getting the image to pick up or stamp cleanly.

Out With The Old, In With The New
Hello readers,
First I want to thank you for joining me in my blogging journey over the last three years. When I first began I was inspired by the reddit sub Reddit Laqueristas to come up with my blog name The Lazy Laquerista. Over the years I've learned a lot, met many amazing people in the nail and beauty community and grown as a blogger. I felt it was time for a change that represented how the blog has evolved. With that, I decided to re-brand.
From now on, The Lazy Laquerista will be Manicure Manifesto. The same swatches, pictures and reviews now with an edgy new name. Thank you so much taking the next step in this adventure with me!
Happy polishing,
Michelle

Always Be A Phoenix Nail Art
Hello readers,
Today I have some phoenix inspired nail art to share with you. I went a little abstract with a stamping design that reminded me of feathers. I started with a base of Lucky 13 Lacquer Always Be A Phoenix. On my pointer and pinky fingers I added a coat of Maybelline Clearly Spotted. On my middle and ring finger I stamped an abstract feather design using Born Pretty Store plate BP-L015 and China Glaze liquid leather. On my ring finger I also dry brushed a little Lucky 13 Lacquer The War Doctor over the stamped design to add a little more shimmer. To seal everything up I used one coat of CND Super Stickey top coat. Photos were taken in daylight spectrum lighting.
